Common Questions

How do I start a focus session?

Open the app and tap the play button on the main timer screen. You can optionally set an intention and choose which apps to block before starting.

How do I connect my Apple Watch?

Make sure FocusFit is installed on your Apple Watch. The Watch app will automatically sync with your iPhone. You can start sessions from either device. Apple Watch features require a Pro subscription.

How does App Blocking work?

FocusFit uses Apple's Screen Time API to temporarily block distracting apps during focus sessions. Go to Settings > App Blocking to select which apps to block. Apps automatically unblock when your session ends.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple ID. Go to iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > FocusFit, then tap Cancel Subscription.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open FocusFit, go to Settings > Subscription, and tap 'Restore Purchases'. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Is my data private?

Yes. Health data (heart rate) stays on your device and is never uploaded. FocusFit uses a privacy-first design. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Troubleshooting

Apple Watch not syncing

  1. 1Make sure both iPhone and Apple Watch have FocusFit installed
  2. 2Check that Bluetooth is enabled on both devices
  3. 3Restart both the iPhone app and Watch app
  4. 4If issues persist, try unpairing and re-pairing your Apple Watch

App Blocking not working

  1. 1Go to iPhone Settings > Screen Time and ensure it's enabled
  2. 2Open FocusFit Settings > App Blocking and grant permissions
  3. 3Select the apps you want to block
  4. 4Try starting a new focus session

Subscription not recognized

  1. 1Make sure you're signed in with the correct Apple ID
  2. 2Go to FocusFit Settings > Subscription > Restore Purchases
  3. 3Wait a few moments for the subscription to sync
  4. 4If issues persist, contact support@focusfit.app
